My little Loïe is one year old. (Saturday, the 27th, was officially her birthday!) This is absolutely amazing to me that we have survived the year, despite colic, reflux, ear infections, teething, no sleeping, and everything else. The smile she has above is definitely representative of the good mood she has been in for the past week. It's almost like she knows she's hit her year mark and what an accomplishment that is!
Her bottom left tooth next to the middle came through around 9/30, and now she's teething again, but it will be a while before the next comes through too.
Zeebs is officially her new best friend. It's her security blanket and it saved me while we were in Danville and she was sick. It was her only source of comfort, besides mommy holding her and a constant stream of Tylenol and Advil.
She is one ear infection away from tubes. So now any time Isla gets a hint of being sick I am literally on the verge of a nervous break down in fear of illness hitting our house AGAIN. any illness at all, bacterial or viral, sparks ear infections in her, so naturally I'm extremely paranoid.
Says dad & dog, momma, and now she's learning animal sounds like moo & bok bok. She gets really excited when she sees a dog, like almost hyperventilates she gets so excited.
She seriously never stops eating. Except babyfood, when she's done with that, she spits it all out everywhere which is both cute and really obnoxious.
Pretty sure she went through a growth spurt the week she turned 1. She was cranky an eating even more than usual. After what seemed like a growth spurt she was acting a lot happier and more independent. Can growth spurts effect the mind?
She was 16lbs 8 oz at about 11.5 months so after this growth spurt we'll see how big she is at her year apt on thursday. She is still sooo little! She barely fits in 6-12 mo. clothes!!
Now here are all her pictures from the past year. It's so adorable to see how she has grown. I just love how it turned out.
We LOVE you Loïe!!!
