six!

Loïe is 6 months old!!!

She started rolling front to back.   It's rare, but it happens when she's really mad about being on her tummy.

She tried & loved fruit, but it gave her the runs, so we went off of it because pooping so often was waking her up a lot at night.

Sleep training! Yay, we finally got to do sleep training, and it helped a lot, and yet between pooping & teething, progress is still slow. In fact, this last week she got another ear infection and sleep is now very difficult again.  It's back to waking up every ~4 hours.  Yikes. Bart is now gone though, so we can train up again and hard over the next few weeks! I am determined to have her sleeping through the night completely and sharing a room with Isla by the time he gets back at the end of July.
(She'll be 9 months by then, so she better be sleeping through the night, geez.)

She is sleeping in the pack-n-play now in our bathroom, still tightly swaddled. Although this week, because of her hurting ears, we've loosened up the swaddle and she seems to be sleeping okay with her arms out sometimes.

Two teeth came in April. It took 3 weeks for them to come through!! They just popped up one right after the other and let me tell you - Ouch. For me and for her.

She's blowing zerbits constantly.

She's getting better at being on her tummy, but still not her favorite.  And she's getting better at alone playtime, which is super helpful for me.

Her doctor's apt is next week, but she was weighed this week for her ear infection check-up and she comes in at...

13 lbs 13 oz.

To give some perspective, her sister was 17 lbs 5 oz at 6 months and her cousin, Deacon, who is 3 months younger than her weighed in today at 13 lbs 11 oz. Nuts how teeny she is. I can't wait to find out the rest of her stats and where it puts her in the percentages.

We love her to pieces and pieces. Here is her progression from the last six months. (click on it to see her cuteness!)
