Here are the last months worth of fun things Isla has accomplished in the month of August before she turned 1. This is such a great age to watch her grow in, I'm having so much fun!
11.1- She's so smart and has figured out how to cry to manipulate. Not fun for bed and nap times!! We have to be strong! She's started to sort of copy things we tell her, like what does a doggy say? It's not all the time, but it means she's getting ready to learn like that. She's taking bites of whatever we give her, but still no baby food. She's into her 12-18 mo cloths now and I think she's in the middle of a growth spurt.
(What a goof!)
11.2- She's started to eat cheerios, ritz, and pretzels and even yogurt! It's like all the sudden she eats!!! So cool! Now I just have to make sure she eats healthy. It hasn't realy helped her constipation issues though, hopefully the yogurt will regulate!
11.3 - she started to blow rasperries again, a lot and with a ton of spit. She says something like dog with the right meaning and can make the woof sound when asked. We think she has officially said dad and dog, although they sound the same, she understands what they mean and says them in the right context. She's also clapping a ton too when she gets proud of herself.
11.4- She's started to throw tantrums, hilarious, but annoying. She can slide down the slide now on her tummy by herself. She's such a daredevil. She crawls all over the playset and slide. She loves to climb on everything! She's very independent and explores without me.
Right at one year she's started to really respond to eating. Luckily, because I was worried about her wanting to eat her cake! Apparently, she liked it enough to lick her fingers!
