time-suckers

This month has kind of been a spring-cleaning-of-everything kind of month.  I feel like we have a zillion projects going on right now in our family.  We are finishing our basement, although we've only gotten as far as cleaning out the basement.  This is potentially really exciting but the process drags on and on.  I can't wait until things are really rolling.

We are in the middle of a HUGE (read - hugely annoying) ordeal with our health insurance and AF hospital, so that takes FOREVER to deal with - as anyone who's ever called a health provider's billing department before can attest.  (Like hour long stints on hold every day.)  The frustrating part is we are 100% right, and anyone with a brain (excludes all in the health administration and insurance industries) would have dismissed the issue months ago.  It's for less than a thousand bucks, so in the grand scheme of things its not that big of a deal, but it drives me crazy, and I stand by my principles.

The coolest and most exciting project we're working on is a commission to create a Golf Tee Mural, similar to my dad's, for this really wealthy guy who owns a car armoring business here in Utah.  He has asked for the mural to be of this picture, the Ferrari Enzo.  It will be 12 ft wide and 8 ft tall.  We're pretty pumped about doing it, 'cause it's going to be amazing when it's finished.  We're hoping to have it finished by the beginning of June, so fingers crossed we hit no obstacles!

So out the three things really sucking at my time, energy, and spirit, let's just hope the first doesn't take too long, the second goes away quickly, and the third's business leads to a lot more projects to come!
